In all fairness to Gay...he ran an incredible race himself...9.71 is an amazing time...but he's in a position like all those players in the NBA were during the Jordan era...as good as you are...you're never going to reach the guy at the top. From a genetic standpoint, Bolt is simply a freak...He's 6'4" and has a LONG stride...he's simply going to be too hard for any sprinter to match stride for stride. over the last 20M...Bolt was starting to separate from the field...not the other way around...simple amazing.
