Price cut is all but confirmed at this point.
It's the only way SCE will come even close to reaching their 13m projection for the year. Pair that with the big reduction in production costs on hardware revisions, thinning inventory along with unexplained sales at retail and a price cut becomes the safe money bet.
This holiday will match a $299 120GB 360 with a $299 120GB PS3. I won't be surprised if the 120GB PS3 is the same one that's been floating around in spy shots for months now.
GT5 would be a nice surprise, but with GT PSP already scheduled for holiday release, I can't help but think it would effect sales of both.
