by doing more interesting niche ideas into games that would change the way people look at games (instead of just toys) and i said Wii music is like a children's rockband. not compared it , but its just a simplistic Rhythm game.
are you happy now Rol? |
Rol's not the one you're talking to now.
Miyamoto was single-handedly responsible for the innovation of three-dimensional puzzle-solving logic in video games as we know them today, was responsible for the innovation of the scrolling screen in platformers (essentially inventing the sidescrolling platformer subgenre), was responsible for the importance of motion control as we know it today, and is the majority of the creative driving force behind the two most hysterically popular consoles in the history of the industry (yes, even above the PS2 in similar timeframes).
He continues to do more in every generation than any other person on this list did at the height of their careers. He's responsible for the growth of the medium in so many ways that it's difficult to describe.
What you're saying? "Niche ideas"? He practically invented the idea, and continues to make games in that vein.
Wii Music is not a rhythm game. It's a music game. There is a differenc. In Rock Band you press buttons to a rhythm. In Wii Music you play with music.
