I just wrote it in perl... the user friendly bit was making it an executable somehow so you wouldn't need to have perl installed, if that's even possible.
The link you PM'd me though, I should be able to completely automate that in Perl, and I could probably even make it identify which platinums are new, etc. Would still need to figure out how to make it an easy executable, but beyond that, should be cake.
