How can a democratic government that is run by the people have too much power. If anything, for freedoms sake, ta democratic government can't have enough power.
When the government doesnt have power over something, it means that someone else does. I dont know about anyone else, but I trust an elected politician who tries to please me and answers to me every few years more than an elite CEO who has no reason to care about me at all.
