 Squaresoft has been in decline well before the merger. Also enix is only a publisher so I don't see how the quality was killed.

After FF X, Final Fantasy hasn't been enjoyable for me. Perhaps its just coincidence.

How did enix do that though? They don't have any developers to mess up the game or any other final fantasy.

So you think the entire Squaresoft team stayed the same after the merger?
