Gaming - DLC - View Post

DLC nowadays is a joke. DLC is so piecemeal that you think the content is reasonably priced, until you realize you just spent $100 on a single game, and $40 of that was spent on minimal content. You pay for map packs, costumes, a single new singleplayer level, additional gameplay modes, and horse armor.

I miss the days of expansion packs, where you really got your money's worth. Starcraft: Broodwar was $30 at release, introduced several new units that completely changed the way the game was played, and on top of that, gave the player a whole new single-player campaign that rivaled the campaign from the original game.
