Why do sega insist on making rubbish 3D Sonic games?

Yup, Sonic Adventure 2 was probably the best 3D platformer I've ever played... this has nothing to do with 2D or 3D, it's simply about programmers who fail at the task of making good games.

That game was to me when it all started to go wrong. Shadow replaced Metal Sonic, who is a much more natural rival to sonic considering the robot theme. The story and art design had nothing to do with how a Sonic game should look and feel, and they had all these boring characters in between the Sonic stages.

*sigh* At least the gameplay was good, and the game had Green Hill Zone.

I agree..I loved SA2, but thats where SONIC lost its roots and what made him cool...Sonic Heroes is the last Classic feeling SONIC game
