After the raping that Zero Punctuation gave to the Conduit, I don't blame them for switching...lol

http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation/869-The-Conduit

Didn't they make their own engine? What license someone elses?

I kind of doubt Zero Puncuation was the motive here; if you're making business decisions on their advice, ur doing it rong.

But I believe their main engine is Wii-only, so if they're going HD it would take too long to start from scratch. I could be wrong though.

I know...I was kidding. That was a funny ZP review though.

If this ghostbusters engine is similar to Unreal 3 cost wise...I am not sure its a financially smart decision to license when you have a half decent engine alredy set up. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to port it over to PC (and 360) boosting resolution, lighting, models and other things in the process.

But I'm sure they are smarter than me and know what they are doing...

It wasn't funny. I mean, he's not even trying to be creative with the Wii bashing anymore, he's just running on pure hate now. I mean, i will admit that some of his anti-Wii reviews were still funny, but this one was just Wii hate for the sake of Wii hate. Pandering to the large Wii hating audience that Escapist apparently has (read their comments section. Ugh)

Different eyes see different things... there is slight truth to everything he said in that interview.

The Conduit is an average game, with average visuals that got a lot of attention for being "pretty good" for a Wii game. There is no way to spin that...compared to Halo 2 on xbox1, conduit pales in every aspect and that was 5 years ago. Still I enjoyed the game for what it was...

ZP just tends to take a small truth and then amplify it 100X....and make it funny. Thats why he is who he is...

I was kinda angry when he ripped in to FEAR but he did find faults with the game...and make them seem like they break the fabric of our society.
