Actually considering that every comparison is really about which of the relative performance 'pros' one has over the other which you take seriously vs the relative cons of the hardware you take seriously or not. Since an extremely biased individual would look at the pros side and exagerate for their favourite and look at the cons side and diminish the effects and do the reverse for a console they don't favour I don't see any point to this. Hell even the unbiased individuals have differing perspectives about what they consider to be important. Hell, we could have a very smart individual from Nvidia who designs the chips come to this thread and a guy from IBM from a similar technical background and you may find that they have differing opinions about which is better. The guy from Nvidia may point to the Xenos chip + companion ED-Ram and say "obviously the Xbox 360 is better, it can run more complicated shaders bla bla bla" and etc. One things for certain is that there are no absolutes! It always 'depends' and thats the way it will stay for the remainder of the generation. |
The Xenos chip is actually made by ATI, not Nvidia.
