I hate having to bring this up in every single MGS:R topic, but Kojima himself said that this would be a stealth game. I have no idea where anybody is getting hack n' slash from.

I wouldn't be suprised if there is a lot more action this time around, but it's still going to be a stealth game, as Kojima has said himself.

Yeah I heard about that too, my bad for writing "hack and slash". It seems to me it will be a little similar to what we saw in the end of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, where Raiden first aquired his sword (or atleast it will have similar elements from it). Whatever it is, it is a departure from the series as Raiden will be using his sword throughout most of the game; I preferred Snake's style of stealth much more. Lets hope I can change my mind.
