@Game_Boy, you sort of made my point again...not sure what to say.
Look at how far behind the 8800s ATI released comparable cards, now throw in the idea that Q1 means April-June time frame and you can see that ATI is most certainly a few months behind NVidia. If it takes NVidia 6 months to release a new entry to the high end market then we can say ATI has closed the gap and we have good race again.
I am all about best bang for buck, I don't care if that is Nvidia, ATI, etc...so long as its a reputable company. Although I do like evga as a manufacturer.
