Was ps3 supposed to sell well in 2007?

I love the community here but its so obvious to see who supports what by which console they flame -_- I mean almost EVERY topic posted on these boards gets derailed by someone who dissagree's/flames then the original poster is left in the dust, hell this entire thread was created based on a flamebait. The topic could have easily read "What will be the Playstation 3's best year?" or "When do you think PS3 will hit mass market" or something in non-negative context.

 

No you didn't, you just chose to post your disgust in a Sony targeted thread, I'm sure there have been many negative threads against the other two consoles that you have looked over.

 Quite possibly I did overlook them :) However it was proably due to the fact that I see SONY in the title and feel obligated to respond in it. If a thread is created for the sake of flamebaiting then I guess the thread can serve some kind of purpose, just not constructive, but if I see a thread titled "Xbox 360 is teh newbzors for its hardware prolmens" Then why would I enter to support it? It's a 360 thread, and like I stated earlier I simply don't care.

I would hope that a 360 fan would go out of his way to post that threads of those types offer nothing more than childish bickering the likes of which I've seen in "GOKU VRS VEGITA" type threads -_- I mean honestly, if its an Xbox discussion, and Xbox supporters are discussing it, then by all means talk away. But the title I mentioned earlier points to nothing but flamebait :) The entire topic being created to waste time and bitch about something you have no interest in.
