Thats true that Bioware did amazing with Neverwinter nights, but which of their other games did they support post launch?  Baldurs gate got one expansion, Kotot got a stupid DLC that gave you a new shop (can't really complain though, it was free), Jade Empire had nothing, Mass Effect had one DLC in bringing down the sky.

One game doesn't make a company amazing at post launch support.  All though, from what I'm hearing Dragon's Age: Origins is going to have tons of support, which is one of the reasons I foam at the mouth at the mere mention of that game.

Baldur's Gate had an expansion then a sequel which continued the story with a revamped system and then an expansion after that.

KotOR and Jade Empire were both on the original Xbox as well as the PC so there should have been no expectations of anything special on those titles just as there should be no expectations of their Sonic Chronicles DS game.

Mass Effect has a sequel coming.  If you hadn't noticed from the 2 expansions for the Baldur's Gate games and the 3 expansions for Neverwinter Nights, Bioware prefers to offer large scale "extras" versus smaller extras.  You're more likely to get a full blown sequel or an expansion than a cheap $2-$10 DLC pack.
