Why the PS3 has truely got a 100% failure rate. (no offense intended)

Actually, if you put 100 PS3s, 100 Wiis and 100 Xbox 360s in a time capsule for 100 years I can be 100% sure that 100% of the PS3s will not work.

The Xbox 360s and Wiis at least have a chance to be working...

 

Mechanical parts need to be moving to wear down. If they're in a capsule with no power nothing'd be moving, hence no wearing down.

 

FYI, flash also fails eventually. It just typically takes longer than HDDs.
