DRAGON QUEST X vs FINAL FANTASY XIII , which one will sell the most ?

Didn't their latest financial report only say they plan on shipping a total of 4 million next quarter. (as in 4 mil lifetime)

 

Also, yes DQ8 did 1.3 million in America + Others, but the game did have a lot of marketing and it also had the demo for Final Fantasy XII. I only bought it for that demo, and so did many others. I'm sure they can work some kind of pack in to push the game like they did for DQ8.

Nintendo has stated they are going to help market DQIX in America.  To quote 'make it popular in America'.  So if this is anything to go on, DQIX should be getting a good marketing campaign outside of Japan.

And frankly, compared to the marketing most Final Fantasy games get, no Dragon Quest game has ever gotten good marketing in America.  Including DQVIII.  And the recent games on the DS hasn't even gotten any aside from Dragon Quest Monsters Joker.  Again, that's just compared to a game like Final Fantasy.
