Since you just turned the thread right into the shitbin, why don't we start with the big guns? How about he should buy a 360 for the superior version of most multiplatform games? How about he should buy a 360 not to wait a year+ (or never get them) for many jrpgs? We should be talking as well about maybe he should buy an xbox not to be forced to install games? Or buy it for many XBLA games besides these two, games like shadow complex or ikaruga for example? We could mention as well that he should be buying a 360 to play right now a good racer instead of spending his time shitposting on the forums about how good GT5 is gonna be? What about buying it for the most dedicated online gaming community?

Or to put it simply, he should buy a 360 because it's the leading high definition hardware.

I appreciate all the advice and opinions but please keep the which console is better argument out of the thread. I'm fully aware of the advantages/disadvantages of both consoles. As I have already stated I am a Sony fan but want to get a 360 for its exclusives.

And speaking of LIVE, I am still undecided as to if I will get Gold or just stick with silver. I do have a job and not too much time but I want to enjoy a few of the premiere games only available on the 360.

The bundle above already includes Forza 2 so I will not be purchasing Forza 3. I can wait until GT5 is released.

 



I'm impressed with your putting the fanboyism in it's place here, nice work! I hesitated on buying Live Gold for a while too, but Halo 3's online community and options are very impressive (my suggestion is not to play in open games unless you like a LOT of cussing, find cool people and play with them), and Gears 2 Horde mode online rocks my socks. Check on Amazon, they should have 12+1 month cards on sale occasionally for $38.99 (I don't know the conversion if you're not American), it's worth it. I actually use it to do online matches of Magic the Gathering, but I'm a super nerd! LOL!
