But if that's true Neoraf why aren't 360 folks hyping it as already been asked before. Sure it explains why the ps3 folks aren't gaga for it but what about the 360 folks? Also clearly Multi does count for much as already stated again ala FF13.

There are like 8 360 fans on this forum and 10,000 PS3 fans.

We hype it. However, it's not exclusive, so it's not gonna get the same hype level on any console.

In case you haven't noticed, exclusives get hyped, multiplats usually don't.

As for FFXIII, and its multiplat status....well that's a Final Fantasy game, and the biggest gaming news from a third party in the last 10 years, and even its hype has dropped drastically since it was announced as a multplat, after the initial "In your face" from 360 fans.

If the PS3 fanboys are actively against you, you better be Final Fantasy if you want to maintain any word of mouth momentum on a message board.

Not "if it's true." It IS true. If Tekken was a PS3 exclusive, it would be hyped more. Probably much more. Sorry if you don't believe that.

1. If you count the trolls, the numbers on the 360 side go way up.

2. This is a really stupid argument. It's not exclusive, so it gets less hype on the internet. But what about GTA4, Modern Warfare? Hell, GTA4 was supposed to be PS3 exclusive, went to the 360, and both userbases still hyped it to hell. The reason Tekken 6 isn't that hyped is because Namco fucked up and forgot to release the game. We've known about it since before E3 2006, and it still isn't released. This would be fine for a game like Final Fantasy or Gran Turismo, but it's murder for a smaller series like Tekken.

3. Bunch of bullshit. Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Madden, UFC, Fight Night, I could go on.

4. So wait, we should make exceptions because one game is bigger? Don't be a hypocrite. If you're going to lay down a rule, you don't just pull other conditions out of your butt because a game is more hyped. The biggest gaming news from a third party in the last 10 years, if anything, was GTA4 going multiplatform. Far more significant series, anyways. I wouldn't be surprised if GTA4 on the 360 outsold FF13 on both platforms combined.

5. There you go, the same old Zenfoldor, always putting some kind of blame on the PS3 fanboys. Tell you what. The best selling game on the 360 is exclusive (Halo 3), and a number of the best selling games on the Wii are exclusive. On the PS3, the best selling game is not only a game that was multiplatform from the day it was released, but also a game that was "taken" or "stolen" by Microsoft.

6. It's possible it would be more hyped, but then there would be less hype from the 360 side. Overall, not too much. There have been a bunch of games this generation that didn't have that much hype until shortly before release, and then it exploded a week or so before (Assassin's Creed comes to mind).
