Can I vote for Uncharted instead? I tink Gears and God will both be pretty standard VG adaptation fare. It's entirely possible that Uncharted will be too, but I like the Uncharted screenplay as it plays out in the game better than I liked the God story; and I liked the God story. I haven't a clue about Gears as I've never played it. It will need to have a story like no other shooter game has ever had to be worthy of being called a good movie.
Resident Evil movies were mediocre. Fun yes, but not great cinema by any stretch of the imagination.
