For brutality, Gears of war has an edge. We're talking about the man behind underworld.
What's left for God of War? Some dude who made joke series( I still loved them, but god of war is no joke) and the one behind xmen 3.
It all depends on actors, budget and script.
If one of them fills all 3, then the winner is obvious.
