I was the bookkeeper on my last job for crying out loud, I knew the numbers and still started to late and too easy ("Jobs will probably come to me now...") It never hurts to at least have some job-interviews set up. If you don't get fired you can call them off anyway. By the way, weren't you in a relationship? Go hug her :D!
