I gave up on wireless for gaming cause it causes too many issues and is very unreliable. Now besides finding a good deal on a used 360 adapter(I got mine for $33), you can use a wireless router as an access point. The basic concept is to connect your router to another(wirelessly) and connect your 360 and whatever other game system you have to it via wire. You can use all of your systems with the access point(assuming that it has more than one ethernet port, which most routers have 4) if it gets better reception than the built in adapter for a PS3/Wii/PC.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
