No offence but everyone said the same thing about the Falcon. Everyone said the Elite fixed the problems with the origional 360. Heck thats why I bought the Elite to begin with. I thought Microsoft had worked all the bugs out and that the Elite would be a sturdy and reliable console. But not too long after I bought mine a friends Elite died. My Elite lasted 2 years but my uncles lasted less then a year and my friends lasted about a year. However I played my 360 less then any of them did.
If they replace my hardware like many say Microsoft does. Just replacing the unit then I hope I get a Jasper. But I have no faith in Microsoft's hardware anymore. I highly doubt I'll buy the next X-Box unless their is a seriously good warranty. The 3 year warranty has protected me this time, I hope that my new unit never RROD's considering that Microsoft only gives you a 3 month warranty with the repaired console. My uncle just got his back and he's worried because it says 3 month warranty but it took his longer then 3 months to Red Ring!

Well, it's different this time because Jasper is the first one to fully be 65nm instead of 90nm. As of now, there are only a handful of reports. Hardware is never 100% reliable, so there are always some faulty ones. I can show you vids on youtube where the PS3 disk tray simply does not pull the disk in. That does not mean it's suddenly 33% failure rate. It WAS like that, but now, it's much lower. In any case, we will have to wait and see. Jaspers only came out recently. We'll only know in a few years from now. Until then, we simply don't know. One or two RE5 consoles getting RROD is not proof for failure rate still being very high.

of course not, but it's enough to understand the RRoD is not fixed, overheating its happening, also the 360 still scratch disc, and it's something they will not fix.
