My PS3 broke - should I wait for the slim now?

That can be a problem, at least for me.

With the PS3, you can create multiple memory cards and have a lot of save files. For RPGs, that's very important! Plus, you want the upscaled resolution and component quality from the PS3 instead of paying $20 for PS2 component cables (PS3 ones would work, but what do you do if you only have HDMI cables for the PS3?). And most of the PS2 games are not HD-compatible (as I call them), but with the PS3 I know they can all look great on a HDTV. Also, the PS3 can play blu-ray and not the PS2, so when I bring it to my parent's house (when there's something going on there I mean), I have to bring both the PS3 and PS2 if we want to watch a movie the same night. That's a lot of cables to bring and shit! xD

So yeah, a BC PS3 is THAT important!
