Well, when Sony originally announced the PS3, it was said that it would be black, white and silver (chrome?).
I actually find it odd that the white one could be the 40g. I thought it would be more wise of Sony to try and sell the more expensive models?
Maybe since Sony cut the price of the 80gb it may turn out that the 40gb could be loosing less money than the 80. How much does chopping the GS chip, 2 USB ports, memory readers and 40gb of HDD space actually save?
