Am I the only person thats overwhelmed by bethesda games? Because the open worlds are too much for me and I hate playing a game with the feeling that I'm skipping or missing so much. Thats why I never got into Oblivion or Fallout3

That's an interesting argument. I don't think you are alone.

But isn't that an issue in real life too? The world around you is an open world with so many opportunities of which you will miss the vast majority.

Please don't confuse me as a hater. I played both games but the problem is with me not the games. Although I do like versitility and sidequests, I like them to be more organized and a little plot would be nice, but I get this vague feeling when I'm exploring . And another thing that bugged the bajeezies out of of me is that there is so much stuff you can collect but your limited to carrying so little.

I understand perfectly. I have the same feeling. But I try to control and suppress it, but the feeling is still so strong that it forces me to explore a lot of useless stuff. You know, obsessively clear every cave in every corner of the map (even if it's just filled with rats and imps). That's part of the reason I and many other players got +1,500 hours with Oblivion.

And yes, open world/sandbox games are harder to get into. The first 30 minutes with the game are crucial. That's why it took me two years before I got into Morrowind, on my third try.

lol, Bethesda does a good job of making me want to turn into a burgler. Every house I go into in their games I stake out the place and see if there is anything I want/need to steal :)
