Whoops, hear me out:
Overlord (known as Supremacy: Your Will Be Done in Europe) -1990 strategy video game for the NES, developed by British developer Probe Software. (THis was a really influential strategy game actually, and deserves to be on there for the case for the UK.
Overlord (1994 video game), a World War II flight simulator for the Amiga and PC by Rowan Software (British again)
Overlord (2007 video game), an action/adventure game for the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 developed by Triumph Studios (Netherlands), only published by Codemasters
The Wii and DS Overlord spin-off games were developed by Climax group (another UK developer).
You can understand why I got a bit confused!! But thanks for pointing that out, I'll remove it from the OP.
