| Words Of Wisdom said: I imagine a game like a cake. Originally, you pay $50 and you get your cake. Lately, it feels like you pay $50 and the baker gives you half the cake. You ask what's going on and the baker says you can buy each additional piece for $10. So because the baker decides to make a more expensive cake, you get less for the same cost and now have to pay more to get it all. The cake you do get might taste a little better than the old cake, but you're still not getting as much for your money. I don't mind being able to buy more cake at an additional price but when I plop down $50, I expect to get one full cake. The baker can sell me additional cakes or cupcakes afterward but I want a whole cake up front. So... who's hungry? |
... I don't know if I agree with that. Especially where Bethesda is concerned. Both oblivion and Fallout 3 easily have over a 100 hours of gameplay on the disc itself. Which to me is like 4 cakes.
