i recently bought super paper mario for the wii, and have to say: this game has the deepest story i've ever seen in a game. from the bible prophecies to the evils in extra dimensions to even the classic mushrooms giving you extra hp. it's amazing how subtly these things wield into the story. they have real relevance to our world.
aside from that, the story is very entertaining at times. from the nerd stereotypes to mocking of bowser and some bosses, it's awesome.
it is a type of genuinely funny, TV-suited humour we've never seen from nintendo. i love it!
the gameplay is also genius, by the way, and the graphics are very nice! props to the developer, intelligent systems! they really are very intelligent.
