 most colored consoles are limited edition, like the light blue PS2, White PS2, Pink PS2, etc. 


Not really. The white PSP wasnt a limited edition in Japan, and now we have multicolored PSPs too. And "limited edition" would be the pepsi blue PS1, a short production run would be the white PS2.

Still, theres no reason to believe its a limited edition outside of baseless supposition.
