USA stomps Japan. Anyone arguing otherwise is just a JRPG lover or Nintendo fan.

Sorry, dude.  My game tastes I suspect are closer to yours, but there's no denying the sea of blue at the top of every chart week after week.

Last 2 gens look at PS1/PS2 sales, FF sales, MGS, etc.  This gen look at Wii, Wii Sports, Super Mario Galaxy, etc.  The Japanese have just been the major influcece for a while.  US is a close second, and this gen in particular has really had more influence (with many Japanese developers commenting on this) but in the end you've got to admit the majority numbers (even when you don't like 'em).

You are wrong.

Add the revenue from EA, Activision, Take-Two, Microsoft, Bethesda, THQ and all the other American publishers and you'll find out that they sell a lot more games than Nintendo, Sony, SquareEnix, Capcom, Konami, Sega etc.

Yeah, but that's just this gen, really.  I'm talking cummulative.  Japan is the clear number 1 I believe, with PS1, PS2 and years and years of big selling Mario, etc titles and with Nintendo really dominating this gen.  However I feel US has really grabbed the lead recently for oveall software sales (which I understand is your point) and if it keeps us current trends then there may well be a point where cummulatively US would be number 1.  Also, the Xbox/360 should be given credit as a big factor in this - who would have thought a US console would get anywhere?

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
