#1. Europe isn't socialist, its only socialist in comparison to America. Countries like Venezuela (under Chavez) are socialist. Europe is in fact largely capitalist, just not quite so capitalist as America.
#2. Obama is going to struggle like hell to get his healthcare bill pushed through, he won't be able to push anything more extreme through
