One thing I don't understand: why a game should kill the other, if they are both good enough to deserve success, what's so wrong in buying one at its release and the other later if they happen to be released almost together?
Really, consumerism pushed so far to not buying a good product if it isn't the latest novelty anymore is a severe threat to quality, let's push this bad trend further and SW houses will start (*) chain releasing more and more shallow and purely eye-candy games, just like Paris Hilton constantly tries to inflict on the public her new totally irrelevant antics (**).

(*) OK, too optimistic, they already started, they'll simply do even worse
(**) OK again, a shallow, eye-candy game looks anyway better than that ugly, hook nosed b*tch
