Not really.  Socialism and Fascism work the same exact way... with very similar goals.

Socialism and Facism both have full power running through the state for what is seen as the good of the state.  The only minor rub is facists are a bit more outright in sacrificing people for the good of the country.

In general the US government is a little too facist honestly... both parties.

I mean in general.  Facism suppreses the individual for the good of the state.  And socialism supresses the individual for the good of the people.

Considering the people are the state their isn't much difference.
