And the thing is, if they had gotten GT5 out earlier, they would have seen a nice spike in sales at the higher price point without having to wait for a slim or drop prices to goose the sales. Sony's biggest blunders this gen include not having GT5 ready earlier, not getting a big MMORPG going earlier, not improving the PSN earlier, not getting the EDGE tools out earlier, etc. Even at their higher price point they could have done better if they had earlier put resources into actually utilizing and moving their great piece of hardware.
