I dont remember them claiming that, link? I do remember them saying it could be used as a standalone PC with the web browser and multimedia capabilities.
True, but I'm sure by the end of the gen we'll see just how large the performance gap is.
Back when they made claims like that (2006-2007), it was unlike anything at the time. It had Blu-ray, SACD playback, and powerful hardware with an HDMI port capable of outputting 1080P (very rare at the time). On a value standpoint, it is unmatched.
