No you don't. That just happened in the first FPS's for the console, Red Steel and the first Medal of Honor. Since Metroid Prime 3 the FPS's gameplay on the Wii has been excelent. Now with the conduit I think that the FPS controls for the Wii are completely nailed. The Conduit is just the FPS with the best gameplay this gen for me. |
So then....how do you turn...
I just don't like free-aiming. I didn't like it in Operation Flashpoint, I turned it off in Armed Assault, and I don't like that it's inherent in all Wii FPS games. Resident Evil 4 was excellent because you didn't have to worry about your viewpoint changing just because you were aiming at an enemy at the edge of the screen. That game used the analog stick to control the viewpoint, giving the Wiimote free reign over the entire screen, at the cost of being able to move and shoot.
EDIT: Nevermind about what I said about Resident Evil 4. I thought about it again, and realized I was wrong about it's controls.
Second Edit: Wait, I might have been right. I can't really remember, can any clarify for me? It's been over a year since I've played it.
