And yes, the sex stores were freaking everywhere. Every city has sex stores, but not like Tokyo. And while the red light areas had nothing on Bangkok. Nothing at all, it was pretty unique for it's equal weight given to guys and girls and the fun fashions. It was also odd in how many Africans worked outside the sex clubs trying to get you to come in. That was definitely unexpected. I'm sorry if you feel your home country is being wronged, but a lot of this isn't selective exaggeration. It's simple observation. Entire sections in videostores devoted to underage girls, dozens of men in convenience stores looking at comics with porn inside, Genuinely bizarre fashion that's unmatched around the world, Pachinko madness is truly insane, the pervy anime thing that really is out of hand.
