Listen guys a lot of information about older consoles is hard to find, and you won't find any articles on it. I remember a guy from Capcom (could have been the RE4 Producer) stating that PS2s were defective and that they had piles of them at Capcom offices not working. He went as far as accusing Sony of purposely making them defective so that people would buy more systems.
I can't post a link to this, it could have been a Magazine interview for all I remember. But it happened, and it's out there somewhere. Props to anyone that can find it.
