In regards to RTS titles, I don't see where they work well on consoles at this point. Halo Wars is one of the best (EndWars is its own unique animal) as far as execution goes, but is very toned down. Tone down even more than CivRev is actually.
Anyhow, I will get back to the exclusives question. When the top high def GAMES are multiconsole, then are exclusives as important? If not, then won't people reach for the least expensive way to play them, which is where the 360 has an edge over the PS3? When it comes down to top titles, which drive sales, doesn't the lowest price point matter? So, the PS3 can do a LOT of good exclusives, but they don't tip the sales of the PS3 in their favor. Even if there is a price cut, if the PS3 is STILL more expensive, then how much of a difference is it going to make? I am saying this with the top titles being in the same class quality-wise, which is true across about all the top multiplatform titles.
Again, the question is top games being multiplatform.
