If you guys think the graphics on a 25GB Blu-Ray are the same as a 9GB DVD, then the graphics on the DS are as good as the graphics on the PSP.

Graphics are ALSO LIMITED BY MEMORY AND PROCESSORS. Is it so hard to understand? The DS has RAM and processors on the 5th gen level. The PSP has them on the 6th gen level. THAT'S why the graphics on the PSP are greater.

If that isn't enough proof, look at the N64 vs the PS1. In-game graphics on the PS1 and N64 are about the same, DESPITE the latter having smaller games. The PS1 has 2MB of system RAM and 1MB of VRAM. Hence only 3MB of game data could run at one time (especially since in-game compression was almost unheard of then).

And before you start thinking the capacity will kill the 360, keep in mind that DVD9 costs pennies to make. The N64 carts cost a lot more than that, usually $25. It was the cost that made developers leave, not the capacity.

So the blu-ray drive CANNOT give the PS3 greater graphics than the 360, since their RAM is about the same size. The Cell can give it greater graphics, but that would happen with blu-ray or DVD9.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
