Sony must discontinue the ps2 to sell more ps3s

Sony continues to make profits on PS2 hardware and software which helps offset the losses Sony has made on PS3 hardware. It would be a bad move by Sony to give up the PS2 which has sold over 140 million systems in 9 years. Consumer backlash is something no company wants to endure.
