XBox Live is way more popular than PSN. It is not even a close race. XBox Live has around 70% of XBox 360 owners who have signed up and paid to use XBox Live. PSN a free online service has only had around 50% of people who own PS3s have signed up to use PSN. PSN is good for a free online service but XBox Live being a paid service is superior to PSN. Due to the large amount of numbers of XBox Live users compared to PSN users it can be seen XBox 360 owners are more into online gaming than PS3 owners.
Matchmaking, friends lists and being able to talk to gamers while you play games are just some of the features that put XBox Live ahead of PSN. XBox Live has more exclusive content and Microsoft has signed up deals for exclusive features for XBox Live.
