I honestly think final fantasy 1 is the hardest and ff8 2nd hardest (still wasnt that hard) and 3rd hardest final fantasy 4 (my opinion)
When i first played final fantasy 1 i though going to be easy i was dead wrong the key is to level up and get best items (take time) you may need to also see a walkthrough if you get stuck.
