Not sure what the point of that was. That has nothing to do with Gears of War or it's humongous male characters at all.

Well that's pratically the female version of Master Chief and Team Ninja made her 2.03m tall and she weights 139Kg. I think you may find that also very bizarre.
I can see them making a female character just as big as Marcus Fenix.

That is strange in the books you read that a spartan armor is almost 500 kgs in weight. They really blew up this one. All the spartans had an medical treatment to surpass normal human power so the 2.03 m tall is really not that strange.
