Interesting but one major roadblock I see with regard to using HD DVD for XBox360 games, is that the HD DVD drives which have been sold so far are only half the speed of the PS3's Blu-Ray drive.
Also developers would probably still have to worry about breaking up their games to span on multiple regular DVDs, so that defeats many of the benefits provided by the larger storage media. Developers are still likely to make sacrifices.
