No, you're not a smart consumer (doesn't mean you're not smart). First, because you still don't know where to find cheaper than 35$ BD.
And then, if you had a >40" TV, you wouldn't question the technical superiority of bluray over dvd. That, or you're frustrated because you don't have a bluray player yet.
So, if you call yourself a smart consumer because you buy dvds to fit your small tv... wow... how smart!!
Bluray did not come too late. It came out too early. It's only interesting for people with HD TVs, and it's still far from majority. As soon as majority of people will have (big)HD TV sets, they will want HD content.
Sorry if I seem rude. I just feel tired of reading the same shit about bluray...
It's HD content... if you don't have a screen that is able to play HD, of course it's not interesting... like driving a ferrari on a dirt road in the desert...
Bluray is a good format, it delivers, when people will have the right equipment, sales will rise even more.
We should compare BD/DVD sales compared to the number of SD-HD/>40" HD TVs, I think it would be interesting.
They will know Helgan belongs to Helghasts
