I probably will wait until October if things go right if not i may not be able to until the beginning of 2010.

Right now the size of my monitor is 15" i belive. I could have had a 17" for the same price but they were out it made me mad.

I am planning on getting a new monitor somewhat bigger.

I guess my first answere answers this one. If not let me know.

I play like WRPG, Sim games. But i'm wanting to get more into PC gaming a little so i may move up and start getting games like GTA or others for the PC.

Thanks for the help. And i like the PC you showed me it would be perfect.

Hmm...

Are you interested in 3d technologies? (Nvidia has been doing a recent push for that)

As something of a solid spec for a 24" monitor and the latest technology for under $1500 from a bought PC you've got:

  • AMD Phenom II or Core i7 Quad core (2.6Ghz +)
  • 6/8GB Ram
  • 640GB+ HDD space
  • AMD HD 5870 (or so)
  • Windows 7
  • 24" LCD monitor with HDCP

Sounds pretty reasonable to me.

For a high end system the key is to be able to achieve 60fps for all your games at least initially (IMO).

Since you're going to be waiting, I would suggest looking at the monitor now as thats the one part not really subject to change.

I noticed this monitor on Newegg for example, its had excellent feedback there though you might want to check it up on more professional reviews. This is just an example btw.

I think i may get a monitor soon. Then i won't have to add that to the price later. I really want to get a new PC but everything can change in that time so money may get low by then or maybe more lol.

But yeah the monitor you shown looks really good. I may get a big on then.

Also what about TV monitors working with computers. Like could you get a 42" TV that works with a computer and use them together?
