I think Rare has a lot of potential, they are such an 'almost there' developer. Their work is pretty good, its just that they need to make that small leap in quality and design which would bring their games back to the level they were once known and loved for.
If they can just move from being an 80ish developer to being an 85ish developer in terms of reviews they will increase their sales and impact quite markedly.
