Why I think Sony could drop 100 dollars on the PS3 and profit from it.

Yes, just because PS slim isn't on shelves yet doesn't mean Sony aren't manufacturing them. For Sony, PS3 slim is the present. (Furture for us)

only fact that a whole crap load of retailers pretty much confirmed it and when the psp go was leaked so was the ps3 slim.
